Past Projects in Busembatia, Uganda
Wells Project - completed in June 2003
|

Three water wells have been installed, servicing the village of
Magada and two in schools in Busembatia and Namatumba (with over
1200 primary, secondary and senior students and staff) with clean
running water.
These communities can now benefit from efficiency of operation
and easy access for cooking, drinking and washing water. Sickness
from stomach problems due to bad water has completely stopped!
Heartfelt thanks go to all those who donated funds for these needy
people and praise goes to God for the successful completion of this
project and the future benefits it will bring.

Other Projects completed during 2003
 Alongside
supplying wells, we have been able to furnish these Busembatia leaders-in-training
with desks on which to study. Also, we had the pleasure of supplying money
for a local school to buy fabric. From this, they made a very colourful
uniform for the choir.
Below are some pictures of Colin and Judith 'experiencing' Uganda. Judith
is seen sat with the local children outside the church and teaching in
class, while the last picture shows them both receiving an unexpected
blessing in the form of a live turkey (amongst other gifts considered
unusual in western eyes, but highly practical in loco).
