Andrei and Rita Zalutsky

Andrei and Rita Brother of Nicolai (Pskov, Russia) Andrey took on the church that Nicolai planted over 10 years ago in the small town of Bauska. He came to know Danny and they attended our first ever conference in Pskov. We found a kindred spirit and he opened up his church to us and became the catalyst for our Latvian leaders conferences. He has a great influence and respect in the nation and has faithfully organised four successive conferences in as many years.

Liepaja

Danny and Damaris Pedraza

Danny, Damaris, Jael and Nadine Missionaries from Argentina to E Europe, they have been our inroad into the nation. Danny's vision was to unify and reconcile the different denominational and ethnic factions within the body of Christ, therefore we found a kindred spirit. They also were our catalysts for Argentina and as a result, the pastors and leaders conference came about in April 2003 and are continuing on a yearly basis. He has a teaching gift and for several years lectured in the Jelgava Bible School. They are currently leading the Russian church in Liepaja on the western Baltic coast. Church Planters

Dubeni: Leaders, Roman and Zhanna This is a very small town (no more than 400 people). The only source of job is a little breeding plant that sells animal's skins to other companies. So, they work only during the season time, and the rest of the time they drink.

Roman and Zhanna serve there for more than two years. There are a good number of kids (around 20) who come to every Sunday night kid's service. During special outreaches, they have more (50 or more). Roman and Zhanna travel every Sunday afternoon, after being at church in Liepaja, and hold this afternoon service in Dubeni.

They say that in the last months they have noticed openness in some parents who send their children to the meetings. Some of them have begun to come to the services. This is a big step ahead, in a town where everyone knows each other, and don't want to become the black sheep.

So, we believe the Lord is preparing something big for this people in the next future.

Priekule: Leaders, Leonid and Alina Last month we celebrated the first year anniversary of the church in this town, where Leonid and Alina are pastoring. Last August, 16 people were baptized in waters. That is, half of the congregation! There are entire families who are coming to faith. And God is doing big miracles in their lives.

They are holding their meetings in a very small house, who belong to one of the members of the church. Now they are looking for a bigger facility where to have the Sunday evening services.

Priekule is located 50 kms from Liepaja and has around 3.500 people. Leonid and Alina have been experiencing different attacks from the enemy, specially concerning with health problem, so we are praying for them. But they remain very faithful in the place where they are serving. People respect them very much.
