Mostar

Mostar Bridge demolished during war
One of the oldest bridges in Europe badly damaged during the war has been wonderfully restored. I am reminded of Jesus prayer in John 17: 20-23 so that we may be one. Lord help us to act as a bridge to join and not divide.
Mostar Bridge now rebuilt

Karmelo & Ivon Kresonja

Karmelo and IvonBorn in Zagreb, Croatia, they became missionaries to Bosnia & Hercegovina and began the work in West Mostar at the close of the Yugoslavian war. Mostar is one of the few remaining cities with medieval architecture and the most prominent landmark was the bridge that divided the city into Croatian (Christianity) on the West bank and on the East bank, Muslim. The bridge was demolished in the war when hostilities were targeted as these ancient landmarks. It has since been rebuilt.
